[H]er spokesman insists she’s well and her weight loss is simply down to a gruelling few weeks on the road.
‘Cheryl is not trying to lose weight and she’s eating healthily,’ he tells the Daily Star.
‘She has always been tiny. Yes she has lost weight – and she’s aware of it. But if you’re dancing for 2 hours a night and sweating a lot, it’s going to happen.’
That is slightly more plausible than the rumor about Cheryl and Sarah competing to see who can eat the least. But it doesn't explain why she didn't lose that much weight during the first three tours (I know your metabolism changes when you get older, but come on she's barely 25) or the fact she began to lose weight way before they began preparing for the tour.
I can believe she's eating -- or not -- but at least tell the damn truth: Homegirl is still stressed out over her husband sticking it in some random refined young lady he met at some club. It would save the embarrassment of telling flat out lies, but I guess it's the job of PR people to lie.

They don't make self-congratulatory crap like this anymore. I would take 50 hours of this mess over the Oscars any day.
I would have loved to be born in 1966 or so.
I like playing Spot the Dead People with this clip.
Good God, those Walton kids were some ugly-ass motherfuckers. Not counting Richard Thomas, of course.

Do they actually expect anyone to fall for this? Okay, don't answer that...
She should win, North KC/Platte county will probably come out big for her, not to mention he sucks the big one. I don't know what people will do around here. Will "Missouruh Values" trump people suffering from high gas prices and losing their homes? I don't know, I have zero faith in the people around here.

I don't regret it. I have something to take with me on vacation, if I ever go on vacation again, which I doubt I will, that will keep me entertained. And I don't mind giving money to people that entertain me, be they corporate entities like Girls Aloud, or Killola, or whoever.

I don't know which would be worse: Working as an assitant for Pauler Abdul or for Bill O'Reilly. Both sound pretty goddamn scary.

Just once I would love to read something where Remus is *truely* torn between his feelings for a dead Sirius and the very living Tonks, and not any of that "Sirius is too crazy for a relationship" or playing Tonks for a fool bullshit. Just once.
It's my fault, though. I know what to expect with R/T-slash-R/S fics written by puppyshippers. And I fall for it every time. But I still hold out for that great fic that explores a real, live bi-Remus who struggles with feelings for both without marginalizing either.

I do hope they don't pair Sarah Jane up with Maria's dad. I'm all for May-December relationships, but my God, Sarah was a career woman and traveling with the Doctor before Maria's dad was even conceived.

I watch the
rs_prophet community because I like to read the (very) occasional R/S fic. Imagine my surprise when I clicked on a a fic and it had little, to NOTHING, to do with R/S. There were no warnings for the Regulus/Sirius and James/Sirius bullshit. Would they link a Lupin fic where Remus was with Tonks and only had a passing mention of R/S? I doubt it.
Sirius fics are nice, but that was NOT a R/S fic. What fucking bullshit that they couldn't even bother to put up any warnings besides "ooooh, incest." I mean goddamn.

‘Girls Aloud saved my life’

A GIRLS Aloud fan is spending more than £100 on flowers for the group because he believes their music saved his life.
Kevin Ash, from Grangetown, Cardiff, wants to thank the girl band after their music helped to pull him out of a deep suicidal depression.
The 50-year-old tried to take his own life last year but said he was encouraged to turn his life around by Girls Aloud’s positive music.
Kevin suffers from depression, diabetes, a bad back and epilepsy, which causes him to have black-outs up to six times a day.
The condition meant he had to leave his administration job and he has since become increasingly reliant on his parents, who are both disabled.
He said: “Last year, with all the pain, and the fact that my life seemed to be going nowhere, it all seemed too much.
“The depression set in and I was at the point of committing suicide but my family stopped me from going through with it.
“I don’t know why it was Girls Aloud that helped me. I just put their CD on and it calmed me down. The music just hit me. I’m usually a Cliff Richard, Shadows and early ’60s music fan but Girls Aloud are the only group that I know and love every song.
“I felt so empty in myself before and I just want to thank them because they’ve saved my life.”

Another lovely bit of mindless ear candy I found via last.fm. Their people made a good decision to mold them in the image of Girls Aloud and Sugababes.
They're still not the best winners of a season of Popstars.

As a gay woman I really do not agree or have sympathy for transexuals; wether it be male to female, or female to male. My mom says I am crazy because I should know how it feels and should sympathy or empathize with them. COMPLETELY UNTRUE. It makes me extremely mad when male to female transexuals call themselves women. They are not women. They have no lived their whole lives as a women and gone through the things that ONLY women can fully understand or go through. You may want to be a woman, but just because you want something doesn't make it true.
*snip*
you need a womens MINDSET to be a women. I wanted to punch that bitch in the face. You need a vagina or at least have to know what it feels like to have one to be a women. Women are women because we can bring LIFE into this world. Women are BORN women. Women go through things that no man could possibly understand. IT makes me so angry to hear them say that they are real women. THEY ARENT.
Let me also say that I get just as angry at Female to Male transgenders. I feel, if you are a woman. You have a fucking duty to show the world just how god damned proud you are to be a woman. With the media and society and the WORLD exploting women and degreading and demeaning them, you need to as a woman show the world how strong you are. How proud you are. When you deicde that you want to become a man you are basically slapping women across the nation in the face. You are saying, I would rather die than be a woman, and it makes me sick
*snip*
Im not trying to be an asshole about it, but I just am offended by it and am wondering if anyone else is.
